Cracking shot of East Beach. I have a few pictures taken from that point, but none as intense as this. I am gutted that I am posted away. I will miss this view.
Is that the surf on Lossie East Beach. It looks familiar. Home sweet home.

just catching up with mails currently. Thanks for the comment re Lossie river, I have just moved into a house about 100m from the bridge and am 1/2 way through major DIY project, hence slow replies.
There was an 8ft basking shark washed up on the weekend here as it has been majorly stormy (not surfable though). The surf shot is near to Lossie which should give it away.
Why were you "posted" in Kendal? Forces or by royal mail?
I worked on Windemere for 8 months some years ago. Loved it there although it is way too wet down there. I have some more pics at www.half-lightphotography.co.uk if you are missing this part of the world. It is a side project that i will be sorting out a bit better next year i think.
